Come and see the nesting choughs on the Lizard!
2011 will be the 10th year choughs have nested at the most Southerly Point on the Lizard. In that time, this now famous pair has successfully fledged 55 chicks. Some of these young birds have gone on to raise families of their own in other parts of west Cornwall. We hope these wild choughs will
continue natural recolonisation in other parts of Cornwall and elsewhere in the region.
The Chough Watchpoint, at the most Southerly Point on the Lizard, is open daily 10 am to 5 pm from 1 April until the young fledge in early June.
