Over the last few weeks we have had many sightings sent to us of choughs seen both around their usual haunts (see ‘Where to watch choughs’) and some new places too. Some adventurous young birds from this year’s two broods in far west Cornwall have been gracing the skies above the surf at Watergate Bay no less!
Send your sightings to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the August edition of British Birds, there is a fantastic article with a review of the first 10 years and prospects for the future with regards to the Chough's return to Cornwall.

We have added some photos from the weekend to our flickr gallery. You can see them on this page or go to Cornish Choughs.
Our Wildlife Weekend took place over the 18th and 19th June on the Lizard and in the evening was an event with music and entertainment with a chough like black and red dress code.
These guys definitely got into the spirit of the choughs!
